aHSCT Dates

I found out some key dates today from the research team. On the 8th Feb, I find out if I am having the stem cell transplant or the high efficacy drugs (Kesimpta). If I get the transplant then I will have my first round of chemo on 25th Feb and my stem cells will be harvested on 6th March. It's all getting quite real. I have so much to do before I start treatment (if I get it) so at least know now that my treatment won't start until 25th Feb and it's my youngest's birthday on 15th Feb so we can do something nice for her and I won't be feeling poorly from the chemo. Having a rough plan in place makes me feel so much better!

All the best 🙏🩷 I'm awaiting to see what treatment I can have on the 24th Feb. Can i ask what stage MS do you have? I'm still learning about it all. Got rushed into hospital 3 wks ago was in for 2 wks they thought I had a stroke.. MRI came back I had MS and lessions up my spine and brain. Never experienced anything like it! I'm still recovering slowly, just started walking again :) x

Hi how exciting and scary all in one! is this for the starMS trial? I’ve been reading about it this evening- I have an appointment with my ms team next week and was thinking of enquiring about it! But then also think I’m still fairly new since being diagnosed that I don’t see myself as needing such intensity yet - but then my sensible head is also thinking of my longevity x
