Ocrelizumab

Hello, I’m new here, I saw some of your reports and finally I see a place where I can talk with someone you can understand how I feel. I’ve been diagnosed with Relapsing Remitting MS, in November last year, after a long year of suffering and wrong diagnosis until they decided to make,( I think), and see properly the MRI’s. I will start in February the treatment with Ocrevus, and I will like to ask, if someone made that treatment and how it was, I’m a bit nervous , because when I search about that, it’s says that it’s a good treatment but some studies says that same people who made that treatment get breast cancer and leukaemia, this made me feel scared, because that study says that kind of cancer was getting after the second infusion. My apologies, if this not make sense, but I know i‘ve read about that and if you know if that infusion make us loose our hair. I know that we get a poorly imune system. Please, if some of you can help to lead with MS I really be grateful. I forgot to mention I have MS and Fibromyalgia. I’ve been alone all this time, where everyone was saying that all what I have was stress and nerves, that thing made me be stay away of everybody!! Sorry once again, for my long post! Thank you!!

@marta_alves , others just don't understand us. We all feel that. Anyway, Ocrevus (Ocrelizumab). An "Ocrevus" tag has been automatically added to the foot of your post. Select this and you'll locate all items about this treatment, including user posts. All MS treatments come with risks. These are known risks, which can be monitored and avoided. Unlike the risk of MS causing damage and disability, which is completely unpredictable.
