„Just push through“

I stepped back from work a bit (less hours) to avoid too much stress. I had a co-worker telling me, that if she had MS she would still work a lot and push through her symptoms. I felt really hurt and angry, but I also questioned myself - maybe I should actually push through and work as much as I did...

When you ask a simple question about MS and get an epic “I"

“Oh wow, that sounds rough! I don’t have MS myself, but I’ve had my fair share of weird sensations and health freak-outs, so I totally get where you’re coming from. It all started for me about two years ago, after a particularly stressful period at work — I was managing a huge project and pulling wa...

Why I’m Coming Off Ocrevus: My MS Story

Living with multiple sclerosis (MS) means constantly adapting — to symptoms, to uncertainty, and to treatments that don’t always work the way you hope they will. After being on Ocrevus (ocrelizumab) for just over one year, I’ve decided to stop the treatment. It wasn’t an easy decision, but it feels ...

Hello from Nebraska

Hello. My name is Heather. I was diagnosed in 2019 after years of being treated like I was just drug seeking. I have had symptoms since 2007, but I always thought it was just stress. I am here to feel a little less alone on this horrible rollercoaster we call MS. I would love to make some friends....

Just signed up here. I was diagnosed last fall and started on Tysabri in Dec. So far it’s been really good. My symptoms have gotten better (which no one promised me). Lately, some things have gotten worse. Life has been stressful recently and I know that can cause relapses. I’m curious how everyone managed their stress level.

Time to lawyer up?

After a 35-year remission, my MS relapsed in early April. I scheduled an appointment with a neurologist, but the earliest available was weeks away. In the meantime, I reached out to my PCP, who immediately set me up for a three-day Solu-Medrol infusion. I told him that’s what had worked best for me ...

I was diagnosed when I was 27 and was fine till I had a really stressful time , losing my mum and dad and a baby at 34 weeks , that was 5 years ago and just can’t seem to get back to where I was , I trip over constantly resulting in many falls the last one ended up in busting my hand up and breaking my engagement ring , I know it’s only a ring but just feel like I’m falling apart, also bad coughing fits for no reason where I actually thought I was going to pass out !
