What MS has taught. me ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š

Before I was strong and fit physically and mentally fit and as an adult, never needed or would dream of asking for help. After 20 years into PPMS and all but wheelchair bound, I need plenty of physical assistance but the great thing is Iโ€™ve found people are so willing to help and feel so good ado about doing so, itโ€™s as though Iโ€™m doing them a favour in asking! Before Doing 1 ยฝ jobs + doing most around the house and kids with a wife very often travelling for work + finding time for exercise & hobbies was a joyful challenge. After Getting through the day in good shape and carving out a still fulfilling life given the severe physical challenges is the joyful challenge now. I get such satisfaction at doing even the tiniest of things these days. Before Taking laughter and fun pretty much for granted. After I now really treasure Savouring funny things and have just published book called โ€˜MS A Funny Things (well s๐Ÿ˜Šmetimes!)โ€™which is a collection of stories of funny things which have happened to PwMS because of their MS. Each has a brilliant illustration done by a young artist. All royalties go to MS charities. Itโ€™s been very well reviewed by PwMS, their entourages and MS focussed medics.Have a look here Amazon UK or here Amazon.com just searching for MS A Funny Thing Nigel Bartram.
