Ocrevus and JCV positive

Hi everyone 👋 I am due to start Ocrevus at the start of May. I am feeling positive about it apart from one thing - I am JCV positive and have a worry about PML. Is there anyone on Ocrevus who is also JCV positive? Need some reassurance! Thank you 😃

I do not think you have to worry about pml on Ocrevus it is just if you are on tysabri that the risk exist for pml if you are jcv positive.

Thanks for your response. Yeah, I wasn’t too worried until I saw a recent death from someone on Ocrevus who hadn’t been on tysabri or any other DMT. I think he was an older man so not sure if that had any effect. Just worried about making the wrong decision!!
