Nutrition, Wellness ,Functional Medicine

Has anyone paid for nutrition and functional medicine. Is it worth it? For autoimmunity they claim to discover reasons why the immune system attacks the body and they use herbs, dietary and lifestyle modifications ti balance the immune system and help with overall health. It usually involves supporting gut health, helping the liver detoxify better , stress management and anti-inflammatory diets.

Would give it a go new info is coming through about improved energy & symptoms via diet as an additional aid/all round approach in conjunction with diet & mindfulness. Can’t hurt right? But try & go via GP & NHS rather than private will be cheaper and then u haven’t lost funds either if it doesn’t help??? Good luck 🤞

@SIMONA2

Hi I have just seen a Functional doctor mainly because I have digestive problems and it was lovely seeing a Doctor who knew lots about autoimmune disorders, she also had lots of blood tests done, my GP is not very knowledgeable about ms so it nice to talk to a Doctor who was, I live in France they don't have many Functional doctors so I had to travel 4 hours away but it was worth it,
