A woman question (sorry guys. LOL)
I noticed this when I first got diagnosed and asked the neurologist about this who proceeded to tell me there is no link?
The day BEFORE I start my period I am so off balance and things that hurt flare up. EVERY time!! So much so that when I am in a lot of pain my husband will ask me "are you about to start your period?" it seems to me there has to be a hormonal link. Don't they say your MS normally is inactive when pregnant? So why don't they see a link and explore the hormone levels? Does anyone else notice anything different during their period?

I did some internet research on this and many women actually say their symptoms get wonky right before and during their cycle.
I seem to be the one weirdo who feels fantastic during my period! I feel crappiest when I am ovulating (halfway through my cycle), but when I am menstruating, I feel the best that I feel all month. I have tons of energy and my legs feel strong. I went to an endocrinologist to see if they had any answers, but they didn't. And none of my neurologists do either. I KNOW there is a connection, though.
