Ocrevus and pregnancy

Hi there I am hoping to start a family. In preparation for this and for personal reasons I decided to stop taking my Tecfidera and my 5 other prescribed medications. I of course have been advised of the risk of relapse which i understand. I have been offered Ocrevus which I am extremely grateful for. I have been told there is a 3month washout period after an infusion before trying for a baby. Lots of research surrounding MS and pregnancy is conflicting and overwhelming. Some say a 6 month washout, some say a year! I have been personally told different things by different professionals. Basically what I'm wanting to know is if anyone has had a safe and successful pregnancy after exposure to Ocrevus. I am worrying about undoing my work. It has of course been challenging to omit my medications and I therefore concerned about imminently loading my body with a strong medication. Your experiences and opinions would be very valued. Many thanks

Hi, I take copaxone injections three times a week. I take this as I wanted to start a family and was told this was safest to take before during and after. I did as they said and I have a beautiful healthy baby boy. The only thing I changed was my injection areas. First I did arm stomach and leg when pregnant I changed to arm back and leg which was not bad and I have actually continued this cycle. Hope this helps x
