so i was diagnosed in july of 21. i have secondary progressive ms. due to many previous broken bones etc. it was determined that i wouldn’t walk again. they set me up with a power chair. then last year i was moving from maine to alabama and just as we got to our destination the woman in front of us slammed on her brakes and the person driving me hit the brakes to avoid an accident. well. my belt was not secured properly thanks to my ex. so i literally flew out of my chair. my legs got stuck and both of them broke. so any chance of walking is gone now. i’m living in a skilled nursing home in florida trying very hard with pt and ot. to hopefully be able to at least stand and transfer into my chair. it’s been just over a year now im standing with a walker but i can’t take steps yet. hopefully soon. oh. i moved before i started any dmd meds. they wanted to put me on zeposia. now i have a new nero and he wants to put me on ocravus. but it’s taking forever. my neuro says the meds will change my life. i’m so hopeful. has anyone been on ocravus? has there been any good luck with it? i’m just so lost and alone in this. anyway. just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. i could use some friends who understand
