Family planning!

This might seem odd bringing this to the forum but I'm wondering if their diagnosis put anyone off having children? I'm 28 - not thinking about it for the next couple of years but it's on my mind. I got diagnosed a year ago with RRMS, have had Lemtrada round 1 and will have round 2 in April next year. Although symptoms are under control, I haven't had a relapse for a while. I find fatigue a problem and muscle aches though. My main issue is that I can't imagine having enough energy to have children! I have 2 young dogs a busy job and a house to keep up with and struggle enough with that. I know that no one says there's anything wrong with having children when you have MS but in the very back of my mind the increased risk of children developing MS is playing on my mind too. Has anyone else felt this way about it?

@beccamc99 , hopefully, the Lemtrada will now be the start of a period of stability for you. And, there's no reason why things shouldn't improve for you. No-one can imagine what is needed to have children, but everyone adapts as it's our basic instinct. And, everyone seems to adapt their lifestyle to fit their new addition in. Yes, there is a small risk that MS can be passed on, but the risk is small. And, medical science will have at least another 10 years to further understand MS and develop more treatments to make MS become a minor inconvenience. So, don't deprive yourself the joys of motherhood.
