To take DMT's or not. That's my questio

To take DMT's or to not take DMT's - that is the question... I was diagnosed in June 2017, and have been given no advice from my neurologist other than go and look on the MS website, see which drugs are licensed in the U.K. And make a decision on when, and if I want to start treatment and to decide which one I want... I have 3 x lesions. 1 in brain stem, 1 in ventricle in brain, and 1 in spinal cord. I've had 1 course of steroids following hospital trip. Overall very few symptoms so now confused as to which way to go. Understand that early treatment after diagnosis is really important, but neurologist was not advising me either way...

@amo123 did you mri show lesions with both contrast and without contrast? If so it seems you have activity in both time and space. Spinal cord lesions (like my wife has) are actually very important to look at aggressively because they can easily lead to mobility issues. Based on that I think its worth looking at early treatment. Do you know if you are JCV positive or negative. Probably an important data point to consider. This video is 3 hours long (and cuts in and out a little) but its really worth watching to get a good idea of what top dr's are thinking. It goes through a lot of different areas but if you havent been given guidance I would recommend the time investment . It at least frames one way to think about the diease that I think is very good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Su8CXsxFmL8

Many advise treating MS early and effectively to protect your brain. Here's a rundown: http://www.msbrainhealth.org/resources/for-people-with-ms/article/brain-health-a-guide-for-people-with-ms
