Slow and unsteadily trying to keep up

Hi 👋 very new here. Recently diagnosed in May this year with RRMS. Had my appointment with my consultant who wants to get me started on my treatment asap as its very active and not remitted in months. I'm struggling to walk and have fatigue, I'm getting to the point where it is affecting my job. I work in hospitality as a supervisor in a fast paced work environment. My work have been supportive, but there are days when I'm left alone to run a department and with lack of staff I don't know how much longer I can take. I enjoy my job but there are days that I don't anymore. I can't keep up with daily tasks checking over the staffs work, orders, paperwork, and payroll its making my head spin. Should I stay or should I go?

Hi Vicky there is only you who knows if you’re ready to stop work or not. But the more you keep pushing yourself plus the stress is not a good mix, in my experience stress wasn’t to good for me nor was running around like a headless chicken. But everyone is different with MS. Ask work if there’s anything easier for you to keep you of your feet. Just look after yourself and rest when yo can. PS Don’t dislike me because I’m from St. Helen’s lol 😂😂

Haha no I wouldn't. They are giving me the option for more sit down breaks my GM is taking a lot of notice with my stress especially after yesterday I hopehe says something to my boss. I do need to talk about maybe a new role in my job 🤔 I like the paperwork and training side but its getting my boss on board with the new changes which would be a hurdle.
