Optic Neuritis???
Yesterday I had my routine eye exam by my optometrist. She thinks I may have optic neuritis in my left eye.
I knew my vision had changed but nothing alarming , assumed I was now 42 and would need glasses. Not the case. On Exam I was 20/20 in right eye but with my right covered I could see just colors with my left.
This does not seem the way I thought optic neuritis presents. Anyone else have anything similar? I will see my Neuro next week for his findings
I have the same condition and yes it does alter color. Certainly get ahead of it if you are able to. I have a rare case of it effecting both eyes normally it only shows in one eye. My bad eye only has minor peripheral vision left. And my good eye is almost in the demyelination red zone as well. I have color loss in both eyes one is obviously worse than the other. Defiantly follow up with it.
Yes, it was colour loss (red tail lights on car in front) and a little blurriness which led to my diagnosis.
