Decisions, decisions

Hi I recently got a call from my consultant informing me that my jcv status had changed and I'm now positive. My numbers are higher than what's officially known as very high so they are keen that I come off Tysabri. I'm gutted, only been on it a year and was working well. Anywho, what I'm here to ask if anyone has came off of tysabri to a lower efficacy drug. I have been offered cladrabine, ocervus and similar however being a 35 year old female my partner and I had spoke about family planning and as such these drugs are less than ideal and would push this plan back a couple of years and wee both aren't getting any younger! My consultant said that Avonex and Copaxone are options that would all us to continue with the plan we had I was just interested in knowing other people's experiences in a similar situation. Apologies for the massive message 😂

@Samg276 , you can't let MS get in the way of your aspirations for life. If you don't take this opportunity, it will nag at you for the rest of your years. Pregnancy usually affords some protection against relapse activity, although there can be some post-partum activity. So, go with your maternal instincts and good luck.

@stumbler thanks for such a positive response. I know I need to go with my gut feeling on this but still pretty daunting!
