Changes to diet

Hi all. I'm new to the platform so firstly, it's nice to 'meet' you all. I was diagnosed in October 2016 with RRMS and I started Lemtrada in December of the same year. After recovering from the second round, I hit the gym hard, and I was at my lifetime peak of fitness before a major crash in march 2019, and I've not really managed to fully recover since. I was definitely burning the candle at both ends so I was asking for it I guess! I'm in a bit of a funk at the moment, feeling a bit hopeless and fed up. Spoke with a neuro today when I was in taking part in a study, and he suggested dietary changes could really help. I have the book 'overcoming MS' but I found it bit overwhelming and also made it difficult to ignore my MS (which I was doing a pretty good job of at the time) so I never got into it. He also mentioned a different diet which is championed by Terry Wahls. I'm just wondering what your experiences are with different diets changes please... As ever, hoping for a miracle suggestion (hopefully with carbs included 😉)
@Snail-train

Try the best bet diet, its less hardcore.https://shift.ms/@Snail-train/best-bet-diet--rOkuVwelARk93xVgGs4G Also gut health is a big deal around benefits to chronic diseases. So try to do some reading on gut health and applying some of their basic principles.

Thank you... I will take a look. I've come away from this appointment today feeling a bit better than I have been and more hopeful that I can do more to help myself, starting with my diet! ☺
