MS and Dementia

I haven’t been diagnosed with Dementia but i have symptoms of it. I regularly have cognitive issues, difficulty completing familiar tasks, recalling information about what was discussed a few hours back, trouble with speaking amongst other things. My friends and family have commented about my troubles too. Who could I speak to about this, my GP or my Neuro? #dementia

These are MS symptoms. Talk to you consultant about it. He may be able to do some tests to find out how you've been affected. I am reading a great book called Facing the Cognitive Challenges of MS by an American guy called Jeffery Ringold. It's made me feel so much more positive about my own challenges. Helped me combat the depression those challenges can bring on, which only make them worse. I highly recommend it.

@Vickyms Yeh I’ll speak to my Neuro. Honestly I have difficulty concentrating reading. I usually get audiobooks but the Jeffery Ringold hasn’t been made into an audiobook
