Hello all. This is my first post here or anywhere actually.

I was first diagnosed with CIS back in June 2021. I had developed optical neuritis in my left eye after receiving my first covid vaccine. Since then no new symptoms had developed and it seemed like that this would just be my life moving forward, until my last MRI. Two new lessons had showed up in my brain and I was diagnosed with MS just over a month ago. Still no new symptoms had shown up (at least that I could tell). Until I had played hockey for the first time in two years. A couple days after playing I got a warm sensation in my left leg from the knee down to my foot only on my left side. Two days later it was hip to my foot. Two days after that from my chest to my foot. My neurologist says it’s not an MS symptom but my family doctor says it is. Has anyone ever felt a warm/hot sensation when they touch their skin? If I run an ice cube across my chest, it’s cold in the right side and hot on the left. Please give me you feed back to try and ease my mind. Thank you

Hi, I literally just got diagnosed two weeks ago, my first symptom was optic neuritis when I was pregnant last year and then I had the exact feeling in my right leg as you explain it gradually worked it’s way up from my foot to my hip. The sensation of hot and cold was very prominent. After about 5 weeks it gradually wore away and isn’t as bad now but it’s still there and that was June.

I’m sorry to hear that you had to go through that while pregnant. Going through that is hard enough on it’s own. Did your neurologist say that the warm feeling was a symptom of MS?
