How do I get my umph back? *Update: I got my UMPH back! Leaving the post!* 🩵

How do you guys get back to regular physical activity when a flare up lasts weeks at a time and knocks you on your butt? I used to do yoga everyday and hike all the time. Now I haven't been on a hike in almost a year and haven't done yoga in months. How can I be active when I can barely walk with a cane(wheelchair on bad days) and faint when I bend over? I just need some help getting back on the horse because being active was such a big part of my identity before. I was even getting ready to teach my own yoga class when it hit like a tidal wave. I'm still waiting to see my new neurologist to get a specific diagnosis and start a DMT.

It’s so frustrating! I also do yoga and run… when I can. my fitness regime is more of a rollercoaster. I’ve had to give up on my old ideas of making progress (getting fitter, faster etc), and try to shift to being happy when I can exercise. I don’t have any solutions for you I’m afraid. more of a suggestion, I guess, to try reframing. It’s a practice in radical acceptance! 🤗

I have great difficulty walking and use a wheelchair outdoors but still go to yoga classes and adapt the positions to suit me and be safe. Are there any seated exercise classes you could do on your worst days? Any exercise is good
