From Avonex to possibly Kesimpta

Hello, I hoping someone can help or give me advise. I have been fine with my MS and to be honest still am, but unfortnately I had a meeting with my consultant last week and my last MRI showed I have new lesions on my brain which is very frustrating and are happy taking Avonex with no side affects at all. They are now wanting me to change my meds, I have had a look at them on the MS trust website to compare them etc. I am considering at maybe Kesimpta, as I didn’t like the sound of the others. Does anyone happen to be on this medication at all and could give me some honest feed back on it etc? I have been on Avonex since 2011 and only this medication. I am very concerned about switching to something knew after all these years as I have been so lucky, many thanks in advance x

Following. I’ve been on Avonex since 1998. Was exploring a switch to Zeposia…but have been waiting since April for my PBM to decide if they will cover it. My MRI is still stable though. I’d be very interested in Kesimpta if I had activity, plus I am already happy with auto injections :)

@Clary

I guess if you have had break through disease, it sounds like a switch to something more effective is needed. I lasted a few weeks on Avonex. Well done 👏. I think kesimpta is a subcutaneous injection. Not as deep as Avonex. Hope all goes smoothly.
