Awaiting diagnosis

At age 25, some 37 years ago I got a bout of measles very badly despite having had them badly as a child. After this I was left unwell for many weeks, mainly with fatigue. Looking back to that time other symptoms developed too but I always felt that most things would pass and there was no point bothering the doctors. Had I known then about MS I may have gone sooner. Ever since then I have never recovered from the fatigue. Anyway other symptoms have devolved over the years as has my awareness of MS. After an episode at the the end of 2021 when my right leg decided to not walk for a few weeks I expressed concerns to my doctor about MS. He asked me if there were other symptoms which I told him about and then agreed for me to see a neurologist. I am currently waiting for an appointment but I have been assured that the appointment is not too far off. Can anyone advise on what sort of information I will need for this initial appointment. Will they only be interested in my most recent symptoms or symptoms dating back to 1985 when I believe everything kicked off. Any tips would be most welcome.
@Clary

Hi, I always write everything down and take it with me to my appointment. This way you can give the neurologist a clear and concise history of your experience. Lately I only write down what has happened between visits, but initially I had symptoms going back years. Although, it was important for my neurologist to know, they made notes on the computer. I guess what is past is past. Good luck with your appointment.

@Clary Thank you for your advice. So perhaps if I tell the neurologist of the most recent symptoms that led me there but mention that I have had a whole host of symptoms over the years. I have already compiled a list of symptoms since the episode in 2021 as my initial lead and I am in the process of trying to create some kind of time line of the other symptoms. I will post again if there’s any news.
