I'm sure im not alone in this problem but I'm just so fed up right now. I wrote here a week or so ago regarding awful nerve pain causing stabbing in my head. I called my ms nurse like you all advised. She was lovely and said would call me back the start of this week to sort meds as codine prescribed by doc probably won't work. She was right and on calling me Tuesday said she would right to GP to get Gabapentin and I should call today to nudge them. I call GP this morning to have reception tell me that they can't sort it that quickly, its not been seen yet and no doc available to issue sick note, now required either! So, in awful pain,have a prescription that would help but I cannot access and no note to explain to work. Im so angry,trying hard not to stress(obviously) and know here is the only place anyone will understand my frustration. Long ranting post, im sorry.
