I love my fiance!!!

I am such a lucky lady!!! If u read my last post you will see that PIP decided I don't need my car any more even though I walk with a stick, ankle braces and ankle straps. I was diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis in February this year. I wrote to PIP to disclose my Change of Circumstance with that diagnosis, got interviewed and ultimately got my mobility car taken off me. As they say in Eurovision "nil points". I didnt appeal that PIP decision as, in Scotland, a new scheme was launched - Adult Disability Payment (a Scottish equivalent of PIP). I applied for ADP in the beginning of September. But anyway- I lost my car!! I was gutted and housebound. My car was picked up, I cried.....I was in a bad place. I booked my fiance and I a wee few days in a caravan in Eyemouth - we love Eyemouth and I needed to get out the house. I also work from home and I was feeling like the walls were closing in on me. Just before our holiday my fiance and I were sitting on the sofa and just finished dinner. He had been on his phone a lot but I just thought he was busy with work.... Anyway he looked at me and smiled - but he apologised to me. I was very confused wondering why he was apologising. He had tried his hardest to get my car back - my actual mobility car. He knew how much I loved the car and had tried and failed to get her back. But........he had found an identical car and it was being delivered to our house while we were in Eyemouth. He would drive his car home and bring the new car to Eyemouth. I was gobsmacked - nobody had down anything like this for me. I can now attend all of my hospital appointments (physio, psychology, urology and consultant meets). He gave me my independence back. Xxx

Fabulous what a lovely and thoughtful thing to do for you . I have no words for who ever made the decision to take your mobility car !
