Hi, This is information sent to me by the MS Society.org about the current status of those living in the UK and with a diagnosis of MS and receiving the option of rapid anti-viral should you get a positive COVID test. You do not need to have symptoms to be referred and assessed by a clinician. Those of you diagnosed with MS since 15th November 2021, that you may not be on the national register. This is needed to ensure that you can receive anti-virals following a positive Lateral Flow Test (you will be asked to also do a PCR but CAN start anti-virals BEFORE the PCR test). A diagnosis of MS entitles you to the option for rapid anti-viral treatment. However, there is also a need to check and ask your consultant/GP to put you on the register. The odds are that if you haven't had any text, email or letter about this then you are probably not on the register. I personally found that the 911 service knew nothing about this, although there is clear advice on the government website. Hope this helps anyone struggling to work through this.
