Giving up “Natural”, time for Birth Control?

I’ve spent my whole life concerned about eating organic and exercising and staying healthy and not putting weird drugs into my body, excluding alcohol, because I married a Marine lol. And then I get given this diagnosis. And after talking to my doctor about how female hormone fluctuations during their menstrual cycle and that impact on MS symptom fluctuations isn’t very well researched but seems to be a very real thing…. I’m starting to think that maybe I want to stop being so natural. I’m already on a DMT (tysabri). I’m already taking gabapentin and other medication‘s for energy and the depression that came from the diagnosis. Why not go ahead and add in a birth control to stop my period outright, and try to control the hormones? Has anyone else gotten to this point? Anyone taking BC to stop their periods outright, is it helping at all? (I have my tubes removed so the BC isn't for contraception prevention at all)
@Batty1

Yes, I got to this point too. And yes, it's helping! I was losing a week of my life every month exhausted and wiped out. Enough was enough!

@Evey

@Batty1 I’m so glad it’s helping you! How long have you been doing it for?
