Relapse between meds

I won’t deny that mostly I’m just posting this to get it off my chest. My last mri showed 3-4 new lesions despite no apparent symptoms, so the decision was to stop Gilenya and try something else. Obviously I had to wait for the Gilenya to wash out the system and get heaps more tests before deciding on another med, so it’s now been 6 weeks without meds and I’m due my first dose of Kesimpta this Wednesday. I’m fairly confident I’m now having a relapse. It’s actually the only one I’ve felt since the two events that led to diagnosis and it’s a new symptom for me. My left arm feels heavy and weak and slow. Using a knife and fork to cut through sourdough the other day was difficult because I couldn’t really grip the fork tight enough. And typing on a keyboard (which I’m usually lightning fast at) is just clunky and slow with the left hand. It’s super frustrating, but it’s not a major impact on my day to day function, and I suppose it’s somewhat expected since I’m in between meds. So I haven’t told my neurologist. I don’t know if there’s any need to tell her urgently. At what point does everyone else decide to tell their doc about a symptom?

@Breezy19 Having had MS for 14 years, I have managed to sort out a relapse and symptoms. But if in doubt, I drop my neurologist an email. They are the experts and if they think it is a problem, then they can contact me. I think it's good to let them know, otherwise I can go for a year without any contact.
