New diagnostics

I am new to this site but unfortunately not to MS. I had my second dose of Lemtrada in the summer of 2018. I have had the usual immediate post infusion symptoms of excessive tiredness, unable to sleep and generally feeling like crap but then in 2019 my thyroid levels went through the chart and I was diagnosed with thyroid toxicity. Fortunately after two years of Carbimazole, my thyroid levels are normal. I had my annual MRIs at the end of 2021 and they have discovered new cervical lesions. I have been experiencing increased problems with my hands and balance that resulted in a fall in January. I then spent five weeks in hospital with two fractures of my fibula in my MS affected leg 😩. I have just received letters from my neurologist stating that they want to do repeat MRI with contrast along with another lumbar puncture. I have two questions. 1. Has anyone here ever had to have a second lumbar puncture 10 years after diagnosis? Any ideas why they may be wanting one? 2. What comes after Lemtrada if you have failed on that? Just for some back history I was living in America when I was first diagnosed and I have been on Capaxone, Rebif, Gilenya, Tysabri and Lemtrada.
