Triggers / Flare Ups

(not sure if flare ups should be hyphenated or not, but hoping we've not got to many grammar/spelling/etc pedants here.... ;) I'm trying to understand more about what causes my wifes 'flare ups' or 'bad days'. It seems to be mostly stress related, she can't stand drama or noise or complications, if we've had something in the diary for a while like an appointment or something and it changes at the last minute, she really suffers. I can't always anticipate these events, and if I really try to control all the things that might make her feel poorly, we argue about me trying to protect her from the world. Is there a list or general set of guidelines about what makes folks with MS have a worse/bad/good/ideal day? Or is it - as I suspect - pretty individual? I don't want to hermetically seal my wife off from the world, but knowing if there's common things to avoid / help her avoid would be a big boost. Thanks as always for any and all insights. You've been an absolute delight whilst i catch up on *everything*.

Stress makes my MS worse, warm temperatures ie a shower and feeling unwell will make my MS worse, for a brief time until it passes

Hi stress is definitely a factor that make MS worst. I used to feel the same overwhelmed , could not stand noise, even small things in life became difficult. I noticed a change when i switched medication I now feel more like myself so it’s worth discussing with the neurologist.
