Assisted suicide/dying

Has anyone looked into the assisted suicide route? At one of the centres around the world that facilitate in assisted dying. Along with MS have few other medical issues. Where all my specialist Drs seem to be blaming issues on a condition that’s not for them to deal with. While some Drs are pretty much saying we’ve tried all these normal meds and none have helped so we can’t do much else. With local healthcare often seeming that the disabled are a burden on there resources (have other local disabled people that are in agreement with this to some degree) It’s not as if I can go for 2nd opinions with other specialist Drs as only have access to a couple of these specialist Drs in my area. Nor can I travel to see other specialists due to limitations that’s too confusing to go into (administration and location related). At time of starting to type this post I was going to make this much longer and detailed. But minds since gone blank.

Sorry that you're having such a rough time. I know a tiny bit about assisted suicide.

@BuckGrundle

I’ve never looked into it personally. I guess because it’s never been on my radar. I know the being disabled is difficult… However, I’ve just never felt the need to check out before. I think it’s very brave to even have that thought being an option and I commend you for sparking such an interesting topic :) I’ve had primary progressive MS for the past 13 years. I’ve become very disabled, and have been told flat out that the only thing that doctors are going to do for me is keep me comfortable until the end pending new treatment options Guess I’ve never looked into physician assisted suicide, because I have some sort of hope that something new will come out. I’ve also been told, though that I am an optimist to fault… Again, super interesting topic that I might actually look into because I’m curious about it
