Relapse
Hi,
Just looking for some advise. Think I could be having a relapse - though not sure. My legs are gone wild with burning and spasms. Way worse at night - have not slept the last 3 nights?? Should I go into the hospital or ride it out? Was never told what to do and this is the first time since being diagnosed something like this has happened. Also to say I’m just back from heavy four nights away so that could be causing it.

I was advised by my MS nurse to inform them immediately of any new symptoms, which they defined as something I had not experienced before BUT to also contact them if I had a severe relapse of previous symtoms. I would definitely contact your nurse because if it is a relapse or flare up they may either want to review medication or prescribe something to help until the symptoms calm down.
I agree with above that your MS team should be able to help, without having to be in A&E for hours. I suspect they may want to give a short course of steroids or review you in clinic. Three nights without sleep doesn’t sound very nice. Hope you can get the help you need. All the best.
