First time ride in an ambulance!

Had another incident where my legs just gave up on me temporarily today so as advised I phoned 111 (to be hones I was told to ring 999 but let's be honest that's a bit OTT). As I imagined they sent an ambulance and after a quick chat with two lovely ladies I was on my first ambulance trip to the hospital. I was under no illusion and expected to be back out in no time and in a record time of 2.5 hours I was seen and sent home with a "we can't do anything for you, you will have to wait for your neurology appointment in 3 weeks that you already have planned". Wasn't too bad as I got a nice reclining chair next to a sweet old lady that had shat her pants. She was very nice however everytime a member of staff walked past is (which was every 30 seconds) the smell of fermented turd would wash over me like a tsunami of s**t!. Luckily I have two young children and my tolerance for human excrement is fairly high. All the staff were lovely and apologetic and the doctor also agreed that my sysptoms all point in the direction of MS or a similar numerological problem and although they wished they could just whizz me through the MRI there and then to check .......well they just couldn't. And that was the end of that. Obviously by the time I was seen my vision had decided to clear up for a bit as it does and most of the strength in my legs had returned with only minor wobbliness so I probably looked like some kind of hypochondriac. I was told to keep my diary of symptoms and just ride it out for a further 3 weeks of my 3 year journey with the NHS. At least they were kind enough to get me out before the drunks started rolling in. Ps the ambulance ride was a bit of let down and not exciting at all, apart from the part where we nearly crashed because a car pulled out in front of us. That was a little exciting. Hope your all as well as can be!
