Tecfidera Versus Aubagio

Hi, I am a 39 year old woman with RRMS. I have been on Avonex for 9 years (following Copaxone and Rebif). My pain relapses are increasing in frequency and the pain meds don't touch them. My neuro has suggested Tecfidera or Aubagio. Is anyone on either of these? (I know Tecfidera is new.) What are the side effects? I have read the literature, but would like to understand from my peers on these meds. I can't take Gilenya because I am also a Type 1 diabetic and the risk of macular edema is too great. Tysabri's out too, for personal reasons. So it's do nothing and stay on Avonex, or switch? Thanks

Hi @SarahBee , there's been a few discussion on Tecfidera and Aubagio. The best thing to do is use the search facility, by clicking on the magnifying glass to the left of your avatar and using Tecfidera as your search term. Another search can be run for Aubagio. Hope that helps. Oh, and welcome.

Yes, I saw those older posts. I would specifcally like to hear from women on Aubagio, or going through the decision process, as there are some serious considerations regarding this and pregnancy.
