First relapse

On Monday night i started to experience some feelings of heaviness in both of my arms and a very slight balance problem whilst standing. After having my first MRA since diagnosis at the beginning of February and my first meeting with my MS neurologist scheduled for yesterday i figured just waiting to see her was best. Well unfortunately when I had my meeting her computer was having problems and she couldn't access anything on me, so i ended up having to re explain everything from my initial symptoms to diagnosis from April-October last year. I explained my current potential attack symptoms and she briefly mentioned more steroids but wasn't clear over it being done now or if it increases in severity (which it has today) and said she would phone me today. I contacted her secretary at 12:30pm asking if she knew about me being contacted today and she didnt. Said she wouldn't be seeing the doctor for at least an hour, i am now worried that i will be forgotten short term :(

@drummondbass , a computer problem is not a good reason to have an excuse for a consultation. I just hope that she is true to her word and calls you. You really don't need the stress. If you don't hear from her today, contact the Patients Advice & Liaison Service (PALS) at your hospital and enlist their help.

@DRUMmondBASS

Just had a phone call back from her secretary and the doctor told her she didn't even remember saying she would call me today. They don't have my MRA results from my scan nearly 3 weeks ago, so what was even the point in the meeting. Am i now expected to wait months to find out when they want to start treatment lol! Said i should be hearing from my nursing team (last time that took like 2 weeks) so i said i am having a relapse and concerned i need steroids, to which she said she'd email the doctor and as she finishes at 3 she won't be able to contact me again until tomorrow. I'll see what happens then as to whether to contact PALS, i didn't even know about that so thanks a lot for the info :)
