Need some advice. I have had health issues half my life. First started when I was about 16. I've been trying to find answers for years. Just recently found out that Ms was put in my medical records 2 years ago, although the Dr never verbally told me this. I also have trigeminal, occipital and 2 other neuralagias, and a few other diagnosis. I'm going to check on confirmation of that diagnosis to be sure. I have had other doctors suggest as well as family. (Have 2 family members with Ms) But right now my biggest issue is my legs. I'm in so much pain from muscle spasms and weakness. I can't walk without assistance. Can't really do much of anything it's that bad. I do take baclofen but it doesn't help much. Any suggestions on how to get my legs to ease?
@simone2

I take magnesium tablets for my legs spasms and cannabis at night for pain with a vaporizer for me it really helps

Hello @thirteen, that's a terrible oversight if that's what's happened to you. Is it that MS was suggested as a cause in the notes? If not, you need to see a record of diagnosis in writing. if it is MS you really need to find out which type it is, then there are lots of medications, including disease modifying drugs/treatments (DMDS) which will help slow the progression. Do try to keep exercising, even though it might be tricky. And definitely don't smoke. There are medications such as Ampyra (or Fampyra) for spasticity and walking. This doesn't work for everyone, but when it does, it's really effective. Good luck, but definitely pursue a formal diagnosis.
