First of all hey everyone 🙂💕! I’m just looking for some help or advice.. I am currently on tysabri infusions.. it started off that I had the first 4 infusions 4 weeks apart and then they were moving it to 6 weeks between infusions.. when i finished my last 4 week space between infusions and my next infusion was due on the 6th week.. on the 5th week I took a really bad rash all over my body.. it was on my legs chest neck and my lips even swoll up really bad and were extremely painful for days after.. the only thing I could think of that was different was me not getting my infusion on the 4th week because nothing had changed in my diet and used nothing different on my skin.. it took until after my infusion for the rash to settle down.. basically I explained everything about it to my neurologist and he said it’s nothing to do with the time intervals of my infusion.. I even seen a dermatologist privately who said they don’t know what is it.. they can say it’s nothing to do with the tysabri and they can’t say it is 🤦🏻‍♀️.. when I got my infusion eventually the rash cleared up.. but again coincidentally on the 5th week I have had another flare up and my lips have been raw swollen and bleeding and rash on my neck and chest again.. again I contacted my neurologist, who again said it’s not related to my infusion.. I’m so annoyed about it because it’s not just a rash it’s really painful especially on my lips.. has anyone ever experienced something like this before?
