8th Kesimpta Injection

Just done my 8th Kesimpta injection. Does anyone else get anxiety just before you inject then big relief when you've done it? I think the trouble with me is I had a terrible time with Copaxone as my 1st treatment and now when I inject Kesimpta I'm expecting it to be as painful as Copaxone was. Which it isn't. It's much better and easier. I need to relax before I inject but I have Copaxone to thank for my anxiety. Love Kesimpta though so going to keep going with it.

Anxiety is a pain I’m on my 33rd injection with avonex and I’m a anxious nightmare before I do it each week although it is going ok I’ve been this way since my first lot of meds which put me in hospital like you I should relax but when you have had a bad experience it’s easier said than done I thought I’d be over it by now although some weeks I am better than others so keep strong keep going and good luck to you 😁

I ended up with anxiety due to doing self injection. I asked my neurologist to switch DMT to something that I could adhere to. Definitely worth switching if kesimpta is causing high anxiety. There are other DMTs that are available in the UK. MS UK can give information about all the DMTs. Definitely worth switching to another DMT that you are happier with. All the best.
