Hello newbie here, I got diagnosed with ms back in Dec when I lost my vision in my left eye, had mri snd lumbar puncture done. Fast forward to now on Tuesday night I started to get these really bad pains in my stomach on the right I done nothing but done hot water bottle well the pain got worse to Saturday so I called 111 and they said to go get it looked at they didn't know what it could of been however they done a urine test and said I have a uti and gave me antibiotics ( already have bladder problems/ catheter. Well yesterday and today I have noticed my speech, stuttering and also trying to say a curtain word would take me 4 goes to say it. And also when my husband spoke to me I just stared at him as I couldn't get the word out. Has any of these happened to any of you. I did have a speech episode bk in 2020 but that was slurred speech. Thank you 😊

Yes. I had a relapse where my speech was slurred, lots of cog fog, extreme fatigue. If you still feel this way tomorrow, I'd reach out to your MS team for a check-in.

@emma34 Hi and welcome to club. I have the same problem. My speech is terrible. I struggle with pronunciation. Can't remember the right words to say. I was referred to a speech therapist who helped me out with ways around it. It's not perfect but it helps. Ask your GP or ms nurse to refer you to one. Don't get to stressed about it. It makes it harder.
