Covid and antivirals?

Hi everyone. Wondering what your experience is of taking antivirals for Covid? I’ve just flashed up the positive test and last year when I also tested positive and took antivirals, I was unfortunately allergic to them. I know there are a few more antivirals out now that I could maybe try one of those instead. But wondering if anyone else on immune suppressants has just ridden Covid out without antivirals and felt ok?
@Elzbelz

Didn't have the first time as I wasn't diagnosed with MS. Have had covid again recently and was given the antivirals. Not sure they actually did anything. Have been left with cough/dodgy chest ever since

@ellen21 I had Covid a couple of years ago, turned down the antivirals (stupidly) because I thought I would be OK. I was, until a month later, when I suffered a pseudo relapse. Not doing that again. If offered, take the antivirals and if you can't have what's on offer, ask for an alternative. We aren't the only ones who are immune suppressed so there are bound to be other options available.
