My first symptom was double vision, starting late June this year. The ophthalmologist dismissed me, said it would go away on its own, but one month later my vision was worse so she asked for a brain MRI. So I had to wait 6 weeks from symptom onset till my 3 day course of IV methylprednisolone and prednisone tapering of around 3 weeks. At the end of those 3 weeks I was finally seeing only one image, but ever since I feel my eyes are weirdly slow, they don’t react the way they used to and I get dizzy easily when I turn my head or eyes too quick. Also, I still can’t look at a computer for long. So my question is, would it have made any difference if I had been treated with steroids earlier? Anyone who has experienced double vision, does it get better with time? It’s been less than 3 months since all this started, so I know I have to be patient, but just wanted to hear your experiences.
