Numbness in the soles even after 1 year of the Coimbra protocol

Hello everybody I was diagnosed in 2016 with MS. The disease started with the symptom of numbness of the soles and feeling of heat. I made injections with Copaxone until 2023. For 1 year I have been in the Coimbra Protocol with a dose of 90,000 units of Vitamin D3, of course under the guidance of the doctor. So far I have no improvement related to these numbness, the only benefit of this protocol being the elimination of fatigue. I would like to discuss or find out more information from the one who is facing these symptoms. Thank you

Hello! I’m curious about your symptom. I was diagnosed in 2005 with numbness and pain in hands and arms. Very gradually this spread somewhat to my lower legs. Since 2018, I have had episodes when it feels like the blood is cut off to portions of the bottom of my feet. It usually is strongest beside my small toes. This area swells a bit and turns beet red/ purple. Then I get a red bruising to the pad and heel areas. This lasts for a few weeks and then resolves on its own. My doctor says it is likely “neurological”. But I’m not sure what to do when it happens. I put my feet in warm water, and it feels good, but then they turn a blazing red on those areas. Is your experience anything like this? When it first happens, it goes numb on the side where it seems like the blood can’t get through. The numbness last for several days. I don’t feel heat, except for sometimes when I’m falling asleep and my lower legs start to feel like they are burning hot. Lots of temperature regulation problems in MS, I guess. Anyway, glad to meet you and hope you find good answers here and good people to chat with.
