MS means Must Start!

Hello all! My name is Wayne, I was Dx'ed June 1987. I've survived 71 trips around the sun. I've been using canes, walking sticks, rollators, (current) and for long excursions an electric scooter. I love my scooter, a Glion Snap n go, I'm looking forward to getting a large capacity battery that will accommodate longer ride times. I always have to plan trips outside due to bladder issues, even with medications and guards. Even trips to the backyard common area of my building can be anxiety filled. I am committing to getting out more. I try to mitigate the challenges to a safe and acceptable level but that sometimes overwhelms me. Some there's too much to plan and I tend to over analyze everything and I find myself paralyzed and doing nothing. For me MS mans Must Start!

Hi @WayneH143 and welcome. Yes, preparation and planning are key to any successful journey. "we have to "prepare for the worst and hope for the best"! Interesting interpretation of the MS abbreviation. "Must Start"?? Must start what? 😉

Hi @WayneH143, wow, you've been on the MS scene quite some time! I'm sure you've seen lots change in the MS landscape since you've been diagnosed. Yes, all the planning can be a real drag, but gotta keep going, right?
