Crazy fast tiredness - is this MS
Hi everyone! I’m new here (new to all of it really!). I have a quick question to ask - I’m a very busy person (busy Mom, artist and I workout 4-5 times a week etc).I was diagnosed in January this year with RRMS. I have recently finished my second month of Cladribine treatment. My question is about tiredness. I find I’m tired (terrible insomniac) but can function pretty well most of the day at more or less full speed. Then usually in the afternoon, I’ll suddenly be hit by a wave of tiredness that comes on so strong and fast that I have to sleep. After about 20-30 minutes napping I’m good to go again. This will happen 1-2 times a day. It’s crazy. I feel like an overtired puppy when it hits me. Cannot stay awake for love nor money. Is this MS? It’s completely bizarre! Anyone else experience this?
Welcome to MS fatigue! It's a beast of its own nature and 80% of us have it. Mine hits around 4 pm and there have been times I've slept for several hours, not just a cat nap, but it's uncontrollable.
@NC_MtnGirl seriously? Oh man that’s insane. And quite annoying. Is there anything to be done about it (apart from napping constantly like a lunatic 😅)?
