HOPE

Hello, I have just joined the group. I do and have read loads of your blogs. I have had MS 10 years. The last 5 it has really affected my life and happiness. I have tried most of the drugs available in NZ and have paid privately for ones not available. Currently I'm on Copaxone, have been on Tysabri but am JVC positive and had some not so good signs it wasn't going well. I wanted to share some hope that I have had. I have tried a vitamin called Biotin which has some significant research around it and it has helped. REALLY really helped. My fatigue is almost zero and most other things are sooo much better. Has anyone tried it?
@Pigecan

Hi welcome to Shift. I am fairly new also. I haven't heard of the vitamin. Can you elaborate on what symptoms of MS have improved for you since taking the vitamin. Not being fatigued is a biggie.

@SarahBurns

Honesty life has changed for me. I have not been this well for 5 years. My nuero alerted me to the study and then I found a supply on the web at the right doseage which is difficult to find. For me Fatigue as I said I almost never suffer from it now. Maybe the odd day once a month I feel really tired like the pre biotin days. Bladder is way better I don't have the urgency or need to be constantly thinking about it. Balance is good I don't trip or bump into things and don't think about where I put my feet anymore. Gait looks better or so I am told. Numbness i felt a weird sensation on my hand it was a hair! I haven't felt that since before I can remember. Thinking and memory, I'm told I don't need prompts anymore Paitence, I have some Happy, I feel sooo good. I feel really hopeful that I can work more and have a better social life.
