Ill health retirement

I've been having issues with my employer since march now. It was agreed that I should apply for ill health retirement which I did. But my employer hasn't paid my GP for my medical records to be sent on to the private occupation health company. 4 times now I've emailed them to say my report is still with my GP. They even sent an email on two occasions saying that payment had been made and sent to the company,which never happened. This is now over 18 weeks since they first said paid and sent. My line manager phoned me on Tuesday this week asking if I could "nudge" my doctor regarding my records.... I lost it big time ,my wife had to calm me down. My line manager said she'd phone my straight back to check what's been happening......she never did. My union hasn't been the best or rathythe union rep hasn't,but he's the only one at the work. Has anyone had any similar issues or can you suggest anything. Thanks for reading

Call or email the MS Society legal team (via their helpline)to see if they can advise. And tell your line manager- politely - that you’ve done so in an effort to “resolve this logjam”. Bet they will then pull their finger out

@Surreygirl

I had some useful assistance from the MS society legal team when I was making my application.
