MRI results

After waiting over a month for results, hot a cll today from ms nurse, asking how I was, and that the results showed significant changes to mri and to go to the clinic as they need to change my meds, I am currently on Avonex, has anyone else changed treatment. I have tried plegridy and tecfidera in the past, both really don't agree with me. Really nervous about the changes and what this means going forward Cheers

At least they're thinking of changing you! Was on Avonex for 23 years, got changed to Tecfidera 14 months ago but luckily for you there are lots to try so here's hoping for youπŸ‘πŸ₯ŠπŸ˜œ

@mo-jo , if your head is all over the place today, then leave it until tomorrow, when you feel fresher....... πŸ˜‰

I was in Tysabri for 5 yrs it’s the best that might be the next option as long as JVC is ok after bloods are done!! I’m on fingolimod now hope all goes well πŸ‘

Think I have arrowed it down to either Lemtrada or Cladribine. arrgh help x

Stumbler

@Stumbler

@mo-jo , they're both Immune Reconstitution therapies, which both hit the MS hard. Lemtrada requires infusions, whilst Cladribine (Mavenclad) is oral. Both involve courses of treatments, 12 months apart. I'd check some of the previous conversations on both treatments, to get a feel for what the side-effects and recovery were like. I've added Tags for both of these treatments to the bottom of your original post above. Select these Tags to locate these previous conversations.
