Undiagnosed - lots of waiting & uncertainty

Hi all, I’ve been reading a lot of posts and thought I’d share a bit about what’s happening with me and wanting to say hello and connect with others who might be experiencing similar. I’ve had lots of sensory symptoms, pins and needles, eye floaters and flashes, tinnitus, sensitive to touch, and at one point felt as though I had a tremor in my left hand and felt a constant lump on my throat although this has eased. The GP has been supportive and have requested a neurology appointment but on the other hand have tried to say it could be stress which I don’t believe to be true. I feel as though other people don’t understand my symptoms as I look well. This limbo is driving me a bit crazy sometimes I think it’s best I don’t know what’s going on and try to ignore it but other times I’m desperate to find out so I can move on. I imagine it’s quite a common feeling. Am I naive in hoping that even if it is a MS diagnosis I can manage this lead a relatively normal life? I know there are different treatment options available now. I also worry that because some of symptoms haven’t gone in the 6months, it’s more progressive. My head spins sometimes with all these thoughts on top of trying to live and enjoy life. Sorry just rambling really but wondered if people have experienced similar and able to offer any advice. Also I find it useful to write it all down and that helps me clear my mind a bit. Hope everyone’s Monday has been ok 😊 finally a dry sunshiny day! 😎 x

Hi first of all Ik exactly how u feel I had months of feeling like I was going mad and everyone wasn’t really listening. Advice is to keep on at ppl to try and chase up appointments etc or they will take ages. I’ve had ms about 3 years now and I’m waiting to go on treatment on Thursday finally. Do your research if it is ms and Aron stet and Ben thrower on utube they are absolutely brilliant at explains anything about ms. Happy Monday
