I received my 1st half of the DMT infusion Ocrevus yesterday after experiencing extreme numbness on the right side of my body that I’ve never experienced before. It frightened me so bad that I went to the ER because I thought I might be having a stroke. So receiving the infusion wasn’t so bad I ended up having a reaction when I was just about an hour left from being done. My face broke out into hives and became very itchy then I was provided Benadryl of course it went away within a few minutes after taking it. That night when I got home and prepared for bed I could not fall asleep I felt the need to rock my legs. I felt as if I had just had an espresso with an extra shot so I got up and paced the hallway for a bit and then attempted to try again to fall asleep until I eventually did. Well today I’m still numb on the right side of my body and but it’s actually combined with pain. My right arm and hand is very weak and I can hardly grip anything I end of dropping everything. I now have to go back to the infusion center for the 2nd half of Ocrevus and I’m hoping that I don’t end up having that same reaction.
