Possible MS advise needed
Hi all
I live in Northern Ireland am 40 years old and had a stroke 2 years ago. I have had many symptoms since which a close friend now believes to be MS. I'm worried about going to doctor. My symptoms on and off consist of chronic fatigue, spasms in my legs, tingling and weakness in both hands, bladder weakness, nerve pain, very poor balance, slurred speech, brain fog, very poor memory and lack of interest in things. Intimacy is also non existent. I had put some of these symptoms down to my stroke but my friend is convinced I have developed MS .
Please any help or advice would be really appreciated
Thanks
Do not worry about going to the doctor that is the only way you can get a diagnosis, your friend and no one on this forum can diagnose you.
The only way to get the best possible treatment and support you deserve is to see a doctor you trust. Yes, getting a diagnosis and thus naming whatever ails you feels difficult, yet remember that you already live with the symptoms that have no name yet. In hindsight, you might feel it wasn't all that bad. Please muster your strength and get that appointment.
