Yoga anyone? 🧘🏻‍♀️ And a bit of good news...

Hi folks 👋🏻 So I’ve been loving my Yoga recently - I only started a few weeks ago but I’ve found that it really helps to strengthen my legs and improve my balance. Anyone else find that Yoga helps? If so, it’d be great to know what poses you find help specific symptoms! And how often you practice too? In other news, I got back behind the wheel yesterday 🚗 🎉 Now that I can feel my feet enough to use the pedals safely, I’m a lot more confident and also more independent ☺️ But I DO need to let the DVLA know about my MS, so I drove to the postbox this morning and posted away my form. Hopefully I hear back from them and will be issued a shiny new medical license to drive around with. Hope you’ve all had something good happen today 😉 x

Hi @silvana_hansen ☺️ That’s good news about your appointment! The waiting is usually the worst part so if it comes soon then that’ll be grand! Also, it’s good(ish) about your work - now you can breathe a sigh of relief and move onto your next steps in life, whatever they may be! You’ll have time to try those exercises, Yoga and maybe some hydrotherapy too. I’ve never tried hydrotherapy really but anything is worth a try. Do let me know how it goes if you try it 🏊‍♀️ x

I do yoga, I do 10 minutes most days and love it. It's really helped my balance and strength and I really like how i can see progress and improvements. I've got two kids and it fits well with managing their days and its not exhausting.
