Hard day today with symptoms

Getting my head around MS is difficult and trying to understand what’s happening to your body if it’s a relapse or something else. Recently I’ve started having numb fingertips and the numbness has kinda spread up my arms and to the back of my neck. Plus having vertigo as well. Has really made me sad, spoken to my MS nurse and they said it could be a relapse but of course MS it’s hard to know what is what. I think I can speak for a lot of us and wanting our bodies to feel “normal” again. I know relapses don’t last forever but not knowing when it will stop is the hard part, I am on medication (Tecfidera) for a month now, I have been told it takes about 6 months for it to work. But I believe positive thoughts make such a difference so that’s what time trying to do. I know it’s easier said than done but I try to not dwell on this illness too much, and I try to not read too much into it because it can become a bit scary…. Just needed to vent really. Has anyone else had numbness in their hands? Did it stop? I pray everyone’s symptoms and relapses ease up. And a cure for MS is developed soon!

My right hand, mostly thumb and forefinger, started going numb in Dec 2021. Sometimes it radiated to more of my hand, sometimes it’s just the tips of those two fingers. It’s also as big weaker than my left hand so I do some strength exercises like squeezing grippers.
