Brain Atrophy

Has anyone got either Brain atrophy, muscle Atrophy, or Axonal neuron loss? These have been thrown in the mix after a very odd MRI letter from Consultant saying no change (but there is as I get a copy of all scans and reports!) so had a phone meeting with Nurse and she threw these at me as my symptoms are getting worse and worse

Breathe try to breathe …… medical jargon can be frightening and can conjure up all kinds of fear especially if you not in a good place already. Healthcare professionals can be great or in a word ‘pants’ depending on their own moods, let alone ours. You wanted answers so she gave them to you in an obviously crude way- try not to read too much into it. It can be all too easy to be swallowed up by the uncertainty of it all and let’s face it stress makes it and your symptoms worse so try not to pay the toll twice here’s something that helps keep me sane maybe it will help you too while you wait for good replies that can explain some of the medical stuff in real life terms- just remember to take care of yourself ALWAYS and that means different things for us ALL and try to remember that just coz it feels bad doesn’t necessarily mean it is bad just part of the process of which there will be ‘ups’ & ‘downs’ just like everything else in life. Trying to send you lots of support often which the ‘ professionals’ can’t provide keep fighting 👍✊💪🤝🤞🫂😊 https://shift.ms/@Runningonempty/helpful-links-techniques-for-when-we-re-struggling-npfAlxN41sh23bChFwot
